When family tragedy remains unspoken, its silence passes through generations. "The Frozen Ocean" follows three generations of women, exploring memory, psychological wounds, and the enduring legacy of historical trauma.
The cover design is entirely handmade, with the Armenian typography drawn by hand in expressive, fluid calligraphy and then photographed through a layer of ice. Frost, water, cracks, and natural imperfections distort and partially obscure the letterforms, creating a frozen effect that reflects the book’s themes of memory, silence, and buried trauma.
